* Top Ten Tuesday * Books I'd Love To See As A Movie/TV Show

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish, where we get to reveal our top ten of whatever they chose as the weekly topic! Click here for a list of future topics.
My Top Ten
(in no particular order)

Article 5 by Kristen Simmons -  I would love to see the world Simmons created come to life and watching Ember's journey would be so mesmerising. Plus Chase on the big screen? Yes please!

Hunting Lila by Sara Alderson - This is such a great fantasy action and Lila is an amazing character who I connected with from the start. Watching her grapple with her abilities, figuring out the mystery of her family and spending time on the run would all make for an awesome action-packed adventure. Add in the complex character relationships and I think this has the potential to be a great TV show as there is such a detailed, intriguing story to be told.

This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen - There was no way I wasn't going to have a Dessen book (or two) on here. It's a crime more of Sarah's books haven't been made into movies because her characters are so true-to-life, their issues relateable and their love interests to swoon for. I would love nothing more than to see Dexter and The Truth Squad come to life. Huffah!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green - I guess I'm getting my wish with this one and I could not be happier. I've already begun preparing to have my heart broken by this story all over again.

The Art of Wishing by Lindsay Ribar - This would make such an epic movie: romance, action, comedy and intrigue. Plus seeing Oliver's character on screen would be magic (yeah, I went there).

Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver - I think the story behind this has so much potential. A girl reliving the day of her death over and over, piecing together the clues? Plus an unexpected romance? It would make an amazing movie. Groundhog Day with a lot more action and a little more mystery.

Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson - Seeing Amy and Roger's story on the big screen would make my heart do somersaults. I'd LOVE to see Amy's journey and experience the wonders of her trip as she did. This would be the ultimate road trip movie!

The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey - This would be a BEYOND AMAZING TV show. Seriously. The different points of view and character arcs would make for a great long-running series and there really is so much to tell and so much to show that this could go on forever. Like The Walking Dead, but with aliens.

Flawed by Kate Avelynn - I think this would make a great film and really help any teenagers suffering from abuse and show them there is help out there.

The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen - Of course we must end with another Dessen book because HOW COULD WE NOT? I have to see Wes and the Wish crew come to life and some point. I have to!

What books would you guys love to see make it on screen?

The movie looks like it's going to be great too. John Green keeps posting videos from on-set and the cast looks wonderful/like they're all having such a fun time

    1. The UK covers for Sarah's books are always so cool an artsy, I love having them on my bookshelf :) Have you read many other Sarah Dessen books? The Moon & More is her latest, but not her best. The Truth About Forever, This Lullaby & Along For The Ride are all AMAZING. You have to get yourself some copies if you haven't already! Her characters are just brilliantly written!
