* Top Ten Tuesday * Books My Shelves Are Craving
This week's topic is books that I want but don't own yet and, man, it's one of the hardest lists yet because I want all the books. If only my shelves were big enough to actually allow that! Someone buy me a bigger bedroom? Or, you know, my own personal library? Please and thank you.
Blue Lily, Lily Blue – the third book in my absolute favourite series. I can't wait to see my Raven Boys again and there's nothing else that can be said. This is the book I'm craving most!
Dreams of Gods and Monsters – the final book in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy is going to be beyond amazing. Like all of Laini Taylor's books, it'll probably be 1000 pages long, but I can't wait to get lost in this endless story again.
Winter – Winter is coming. After Cress completely nailed the ensemble cast, I'm even more excited to see what Meyer does with Winter and to find out how this story will reach its end. It's going to be one heck of a ride.
The Retribution of Mara Dyer – this has been pushed back so many times, I'm salivating to read it. I'm crossing my fingers the date isn't pushed back again because I need more Noah and I just CAN'T with this book.
Penryn & the End of Days 3 – anything with more Raffe in it is okay by me. And I hope this instalment features lips. Lots of lips. Because it's been a long time coming, guys!
The Darkest Part of the Forest – Holly Black has a wonderful way of making old stories feel new again and putting an eerier spin on even eerier tales. After Coldest Girl in Coldtown's unique take on vampires, I'm really excited to see what she does with this book. The premise sounds amazing!
In the Afterlight – the third book in The Darkest Minds! I need more Liam, and Chubbs and EVERYONE.
The Archived 3 – this book is a little up in the air at the moment. It's coming out, we just don't know when or in what format. But after the ambiguous way book 2 ended, I don't care how it comes out, just that it does. And quickly.
On the Fence – Kasie West writes contemporary romance like nobody else. They're short, sweet and oh-so-funny. If The Distance Between Us is anything to go by, this will be another swoony Kasie book!
Of Metal and Wishes – ghosts and wishes and complete creepiness? Yep. I'm in.
What books are you most excited for? Any new releases you can't wait any longer? Or any old books you've always wanted to read, but never got around to?
Allie is a Pimm's-obsessed reader, who dreams of road tripping over America, learning to surf & becoming fluent in all the languages of her heritage (which, sadly, does not include Elvish).
